Basset Hounds might need a bit of help if you live in a snowy, cold area.  You don't want your Basset gaining weight and losing muscle this winter.  Bentley has sweaters and water-resistant clothes.  Including warm snoods and hats.  Daily walks and car rides are great.  We do at least one walk a day for exercise.  But we add in a car ride too.  You can visit dog friendly stores and pet shops.  We have a buggy where Bentley sits or lays inside and we push him around the neighborhood.  This is great to get out and about if you can't take a walk or in additions to the walk.  We suggest waiting 3 hours after eating before walking or exercising your pup. You can use the walk to train and work with your Basset too.
